This time I am describing it as a marathon umrah. The distance from the hotel to masjidil haram is 1.2 km one way, add a couple hundred metres of detouring and evading the masses, I'd reckon I do around 10 km in a day. This is my fourth day here, I will complete my truncated walking marathon with a 15 kg adzeem all the way!
Yesterday I did tawaf sunat; each lap I reflected on my life in a 7 year cycle and I found some consistency since the early days on a few things:
1. I can't afford not to renew/ enhance my knowledge. E.g., in std 6. By not having a good learning year- my form 1&2 suffers.
2. Telling facts is virtuous- only if it is meant to the right audience and for the right decision making.
3. If I am passionate about the dream I can make it happens. The trick is how do I become passionate? And what kind of dream?
4. I like to improve process since Walt days of career.. And current process can be only modified for 3 years.. Ass 2 more years, the job become boring and I become complacent.
5. Most things in life move. Including worries. If I move my self, my job, my task, my butt- all related worries will move away- 99% of it.
6. Most importantly at most crucial juncture in my life, Allah is always there for me to pull through- all my journey to this Holy Land coincide with those junctures without me realising them. The only take- I need to move on I'm the right direction after the conversation with Allah. Hence the feeling of umrah 2001 reign supreme.
